Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dynamic Payroll Operations Lead to join our team at the Intellectual Property Office. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in payroll operations, including managing a team, processing payroll, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a small-in house payroll team offering daily support and hold regular check-ins on an individual and team basis.
  • Support the team using own expertise and knowledge of HR and Payroll, and any relevant systems to accurately process and meet monthly deadlines and targets.
  • Take accountability for ensuring that payroll checks and BACS are run efficiently, and employees for the whole organisation are paid in a timely manner.
  • Take responsibility for leading and implementing any payroll/pension legislative changes using logic of payroll elements and understanding of iTrent.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll operations, preferably in a management role.
  • Proven track record of managing teams, meeting deadlines, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • $34,210 annual salary.
  • 25 days annual leave moving to 30 days in annual increments (1 day per year) over 5 years of reckonable service.
