**Job Description:**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with diverse learning requirements in a Primary School setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to students with special educational needs, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs and abilities.
  • Collaborate with experienced educators and therapists to develop personalized learning plans and ensure the best outcomes for each child.
  • Encourage communication and social skills in students, facilitating interactions and fostering confidence and friendships.
  • Celebrate progress and achievements with students, witnessing their growth and successes.

Requirements:

  • A calm and compassionate approach to working with children with special educational needs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A passion for working with children and making a real impact on their lives.
  • Some experience of supporting children is necessary, with a preference for experience in schools, with children, with SEN, or in similar roles.

Selection Criteria:

  • Satisfactory references covering the last 3 years of work history.
