Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and professional HGV Driver to join our team at Rainham Steel's Scunthorpe depot. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for making nationwide deliveries and ensuring the safe transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-use vehicle inspection checks and report any defects
  • Ensure goods are safely secured and transported
  • Meet delivery schedules and deadlines
  • Keep vehicles in good condition and report any maintenance issues
  • Adhere to working time regulations and Drivers Hours rules

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 (category C+E) licence
  • CPC card and Digi Tachograph card
  • Full understanding of Drivers Hours rules and WTD legislation
  • Previous experience completing multi-drop deliveries is advantageous
  • Good command of the English language
