Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced VAT advisor to join our team at Bishop Fleming. As a VAT advisor, you will provide expert advice to clients on VAT and other indirect tax implications, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws.About the Role:

The successful candidate will work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions to address VAT-related issues. This will include advising on VAT recovery methods, discussing VAT implications of land and property transactions, and communicating key VAT developments internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advising clients on VAT and other indirect tax implications of their supply chains
  • Discussing VAT implications of land and property transactions with clients and contacts
  • Communicating key VAT developments internally and externally by blogs and social media
  • Monitoring budgets and agreeing fees
  • Managing client relationships and expectations
  • Contributing to business development activities and becoming actively involved in sector groups
