Service Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Operations Manager to join our team at Perfect Placement. As a Service Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing and controlling customer flow to ensure a positive experience while in our client's dealership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and control customer flow to ensure a positive experience while in our client's dealership.
  • Organise the service reception team to ensure the customer transition through the centre is managed and at the customer's pace.
  • Monitor and respond to customer satisfaction reports and implement changes to address any areas of concern.
  • Motivate and coach team members on best practices.
  • Being a point of contact for customers' queries.
  • Assisting the Service Manager with the daily running of the service reception/workshop team.
  • Building positive, professional relationships with staff and customers.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience working within a fast-paced customer-facing environment in the automotive industry.
  • Leadership skills and a positive can-do attitude.
  • Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to multitask/keep to deadlines.
  • A proactive attitude to problem solving.
  • A UK driving licence with minimal points.
