About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Vaccination Specialist to join our team in delivering school immunisation services.

Key Responsibilities

  • To undertake clinical duties relating to immunisation, primarily delivered on-site in schools for children of primary and secondary in community clinic settings.
  • Vaccinate 20 to 25 schoolchildren per hour during flu season.
  • Work collaboratively to support the team, organisation, and company stakeholders, facilitating smooth service delivery.
  • Promote and support the operation of our School Aged Immunisation Service.
  • Support Programme Managers, Team Lead and Clinical Lead as applicable.
  • Attend sites across different locations as necessary.
  • Deliver an effective, evidence-based, and competent level of care to patients.
  • Participate in clinical supervision and staff performance development.
  • Ensure all clinical incidents, near misses, and complaints are reported and processed in line with organisational policies and procedures.
  • Participate in audits, making recommendations based on findings and sharing outcomes with the team for learning.
  • Actively contribute to team meetings and undertakes other duties commensurate with the role.

Person Specification

  • Nurses and Midwives currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Nursing and/or Midwifery Qualification.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • Working within PGD frameworks.
  • Understanding of the Routine National Immunisation schedule.
  • Computer literate.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including opportunities for career development and a supportive work environment.
