About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Vaccination Specialist to join our team in delivering school immunisation services.
Key Responsibilities
- To undertake clinical duties relating to immunisation, primarily delivered on-site in schools for children of primary and secondary in community clinic settings.
- Vaccinate 20 to 25 schoolchildren per hour during flu season.
- Work collaboratively to support the team, organisation, and company stakeholders, facilitating smooth service delivery.
- Promote and support the operation of our School Aged Immunisation Service.
- Support Programme Managers, Team Lead and Clinical Lead as applicable.
- Attend sites across different locations as necessary.
- Deliver an effective, evidence-based, and competent level of care to patients.
- Participate in clinical supervision and staff performance development.
- Ensure all clinical incidents, near misses, and complaints are reported and processed in line with organisational policies and procedures.
- Participate in audits, making recommendations based on findings and sharing outcomes with the team for learning.
- Actively contribute to team meetings and undertakes other duties commensurate with the role.
Person Specification
- Nurses and Midwives currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Nursing and/or Midwifery Qualification.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development.
- Working within PGD frameworks.
- Understanding of the Routine National Immunisation schedule.
- Computer literate.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including opportunities for career development and a supportive work environment.
