Full Time/Part Time: Bank Shifts

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mammographer to join our team at Bupa Health Centre, working bank shifts to provide an efficient and effective mammography service as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

You'll Help Us Make Health Happen By:

  • Working autonomously to provide high standards of service and experience to all clinic customers with the support of doctors, health advisors, and administrators.
  • Participating in a wider team of mammographers across Bupa, managed by their clinic's centre manager under the advisory of the Clinical Mammography Lead.
  • Supporting in managing quality and compliance policies, practices, and standards used in the clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize the daily work programme to ensure the department runs efficiently.
  • Work flexible hours if required to accommodate changing workload patterns of the mammography service.
  • Perform high-quality examinations as required by referring physicians according to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all patients being imaged receive a very high standard of care.
  • Accurately analyze the acquired data, record results, and produce high-quality images for reporting.
  • Ensure all equipment within the department is cared for and maintained, cleanliness is upheld, and all equipment faults are reported immediately.
  • Maintain the efficient use of all resources, establish stock control systems, and liaise with manufacturers and suppliers.

Key Skills / Qualifications:

  • A flexible and adaptive working attitude is crucial.
  • Use your own initiative in responding to the needs of the service and have a strong focus on streamlining the patient pathway through the imaging department.
  • Work closely with the centre manager, Lead Mammographer, and wider MDT to maintain and enhance the breast imaging service we offer to our patients and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • BSc or DCR in Radiography (essential)
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Mammography (essential)
