Transportation Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Arriva UK Bus Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and preventative maintenance, as well as diagnostic fault finding and reactive repairs to a fleet of commercially operated buses and coaches.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PSV/HGV maintenance and repair, with a minimum of NVQ level 3 or an equivalent international qualification. A full UK driving licence with six points or less is also required, along with the ability to pass a PCV pre-employment medical.
As a key member of our team, you will be expected to maintain high standards of quality and reliability, ensuring that all vehicles meet Arriva's strict standards. You will also be involved in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance vehicle reliability and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
- Servicing, maintenance, and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards
- Continuous improvement of vehicle reliability and safety
- MOT preparation, planned preventative maintenance campaigns, and quality checks
- Vehicle fault diagnosis and ensuring reliability and maintenance is kept to Arriva Standards
