Salary Information
The salary for this position is £16-£18 per hour, reflecting the high level of skill and dedication required to deliver exceptional care and support.
Job Description
As a Cerebral Palsy Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to individuals with cerebral palsy and other complex needs. Your duties will include engaging with personalised routines, completing daily living activities, administering medication, and providing emotional support and companionship.
You will work collaboratively with our clinical lead nurse and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support that meets the individual's needs and promotes their independence.
We require a support worker who has experience in complex care, can deal with challenging behaviours, and possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
- Ability to deal with challenging behaviours.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and empathetic nature.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
