About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Haematology team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert care and coordination for patients undergoing Apheresis procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert treatment, care, and coordination for patients undergoing Apheresis procedures
  • Work effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and implement clinical guidelines and protocols to improve patient outcomes
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of education and training programs for nursing staff
  • Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to advance the field of Haematology
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
  • Post-qualification specialist course in Haematology or related field
  • Extensive experience in Haematology and Apheresis, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience of supervising and mentoring junior staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
