Job Title: Evening Janitor

About the Role:
We are seeking an efficient and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Evening Janitor. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in our office areas, leisure room, and tea point.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Office Areas:
    • Clean desks and work surfaces.
    • Hoover carpeted areas and mop/brush vinyl flooring as necessary.
    • Empty waste bins and replace bin liners.
    • Wipe down window sills and desk dividers.
  • Leisure Room and Tea Point Duties:
    • Wipe down and sanitise work surfaces, splashbacks, and tables.
    • Wipe down and sanitise sinks, taps, and draining surfaces.
    • Empty kitchen bins and replace bin liners.
    • Empty dishwashers as required.
    • Regularly wipe down storage cupboards on a rotational basis.
    • Clean out expired food from fridges and wipe down on a rotational basis.
  • General:
    • Wipe off any marks from doors and windows.
    • Attend to any spills on carpets using appropriate cleaning materials.
    • Conduct deep cleaning as required.
    • Report any factors that may affect your work and maintenance needs to the Cleaning Supervisor and/or Facilities Manager.
    • Ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures.
  • Personal Management:
    • Demonstrate good communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Prioritise workload effectively.


What We Offer:
£18,000 per annum (estimated salary).
