About the Role

We are seeking a talented EC&I Design Engineer to join our team at a leading engineering design company. As an EC&I Design Engineer, you will be responsible for translating user requirements and technical specifications into concept designs and fully engineered design solutions.

You will work individually or as part of a small team of engineers and designers to plan and execute engineering and design activities, generate design substantiation and scoping calculations, conduct site surveys and produce comprehensive survey reports, and ensure compliance with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate user requirements and technical specifications into concept designs and fully engineered design solutions
  • Plan and execute engineering and design activities
  • Generate design substantiation and scoping calculations
  • Conduct site surveys and produce comprehensive survey reports
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements
Requirements

We are looking for an experienced EC&I Design Engineer with a strong background in electrical and instrumentation design. You will have a proven track record of successful project delivery and be able to influence professional engineers and guide technical personnel in the definition, implementation, and delivery of engineering work packages.

Familiarity with Remote Handling Systems and HAZOPs is advantageous, as is demonstrable expertise in one or more specific specialist areas relevant to the engineering discipline.
