Preventative Maintenance Engineer Position

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Preventative Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Reading, Swindon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy mobile plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience working with heavy mobile plant equipment. They will be responsible for carrying out routine servicing and repairs, attending customer locations, and liaising with customers to ensure their needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine servicing and repairs on heavy mobile plant equipment
- Liaise with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service
- Attend customer locations as advised by the controller
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent experience in a related engineering function
- Basic knowledge of four main product elements (Engines, Hydraulics, Powertrain, and Vehicle Electrics/Electronics)
- Valid driving license and ability to drive company vehicle
