Cardiac Services Manager/Principal Cardiac Physiologist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Cardiac Physiologist to lead our cardiac services team in Truro. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the cardiology service, including patient issues, staff management, and clinical activity.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the cardiac services team, ensuring seamless delivery of care to patients
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve clinical outcomes and efficiency
  • Collaborate with consultants and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Participate in the provision of technical invasive cardiology services, assisting during procedures in the outpatient setting and angiography suite

Requirements

  • Extensive experience as a Cardiac Physiologist, preferably with leadership or management experience
  • Proficiency in performing a full range of non-invasive and invasive investigations
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Professional accreditation with BSE and/or HRUK/IBHRE is a necessity for the role
