Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Catering Assistant to join our team at Barley Lane Primary School. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping us deliver high-quality food services to our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve delicious meals to students, ensuring excellent customer service standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Clean and maintain a safe and hygienic working environment.
  • Operate cash handling systems, including tills and point-of-sale equipment.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within an education setting.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing excellent customer service.
