Job Title: Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry to join our team at North West Boroughs Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to older adults with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and manage patients with complex mental health needs
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide leadership and supervision to junior doctors and other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Full registration with the General Medical Council
  • Inclusion on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council or within 6 months of CCST/CCT in Old Age Psychiatry
  • Section 12 (2) Approval and Approved Clinician Status
  • Good standing with the GMC
