Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Coach to lead our Coaching and Mentoring Team at the University of Central Lancashire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing coaching and support to students, staff, and placement partners to enhance their professional development, academic growth, and clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Coaching and Mentoring Team to design and deliver coaching and support activities for students, staff, and placement partners.
- Work closely with the School Placements Lead to ensure that all students receive coaching support and visits during their veterinary placements.
- Provide coaching and facilitate feedback and development sessions to drive staff engagement and optimize the School's performance.
- Implement a coaching/mentoring programme in an organizational setting and ensure its effectiveness.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify coaching needs and develop strategies to address them.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in coaching and mentoring, preferably in an educational or healthcare setting.
- ILM Level 5 Coaching & Mentoring Qualification or equivalent.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze coaching needs and develop effective coaching strategies.
What We Offer:
- A fixed-term contract for 12 months or until the substantive postholder returns.
- A full-time position, with the possibility of part-time hours for suitable applicants.
