Your Role

You will oversee and manage a team that includes a Support Engineer and a DevOps Engineer, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight. As the trusted owner of our platform, you'll ensure it is robust, scalable, efficient, and aligned with best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Management: Own and evolve Limio's AWS-based serverless, cloud infrastructure, leveraging tools like Terraform to maintain and improve our environment.
  • Proactive Observability: Develop and implement a cost-effective observability strategy to ensure visibility into platform performance, reliability, and health.
  • Proactive Monitoring: Ensure meaningful and actionable monitoring of critical metrics to maintain platform responsiveness.
  • CI/CD Optimisation: Enhance our deployment pipeline (currently CircleCI), exploring opportunities such as GitHub Actions to streamline and improve the CI/CD process.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of cloud infrastructure experience, including team leadership and ownership of live, customer-facing production environments.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, including serverless architectures, infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform), and cost optimisation.
  • Expertise in setting up proactive observability strategies, ensuring actionable monitoring for reliability, performance, and health, with tools such as Datadog, Sentry, or similar.
