Nelson and Colne College seeks a highly enthusiastic and motivated computer science lecturer to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for an individual with a degree in a relevant subject area or appropriate professional qualification, recent industry experience is desirable. The successful candidate will have experience of teaching IT and computer science to students of all levels and be able to demonstrate a passion for their subject and a commitment to student success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach on a variety of L3 programs including Digital T levels and BTEC L3 IT
  • Engage with local schools as part of the recruitment strategy
  • Deliver enrichment and enhancement activities
  • Work with key employers to co-design the curriculum
  • Maintain high quality records related to student assessment, coursework and progress
