About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at SLB. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and sustainment of new and improved products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and products, meeting business needs and product requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify product requirements and risks, and define risk control plans.
  • Develop and maintain mechanical layouts, including 3D models and drawings, using CAD systems.
  • Participate in the verification of designs through analytical or finite element models or physical tests, and document test results.
  • Design and build prototypes and associated fabrication and test tooling.
  • Develop and maintain product file documentation, including fabrication and test procedures.
  • Participate in the definition of test procedures, perform tests, and document results.
  • Prepare accurate status reports and provide timely corrective actions on encountered defects or issues.
  • Participate in technical reviews of requirements, risks, designs, product files, and other artifacts.
  • Prepare technical user documentation and provide training and support to field users and clients.
  • Present new or improved products to technical and management audiences.
  • May assign, direct, and review the work of technicians and mentor junior engineers.
  • Share expertise internally and expand the informal network throughout the organization.
  • Contribute to the capture of company experience in design books and other standards, procedures, and training packages.
  • Author or co-author technical reports, invention disclosures, papers, and presentations.
  • Stay up-to-date with novel technologies, including manufacturing processes and techniques, and continually improve skills to develop innovative and cost-effective products.
  • Maintain familiarity with the company's technology, organization, and business.
  • Comply with applicable company policies, standards, and procedures, including those related to personnel, quality, and health, safety, and environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Subsea Engineering, or a relevant field.
  • Professional experience within Mechanical Engineering.
