About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Communications Specialist to join our team in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a reputable agency that delivers creative ideas and drives client success.

In this role, you will have the chance to work alongside a talented team on various B2B client accounts, using your passion for writing and flair for building relationships to communicate effectively with clients, journalists, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create high-quality press releases, social media content, blogs, thought leadership pieces, and more
  • Develop media lists and pitch stories to journalists to secure excellent coverage for clients
  • Collaborate with the social media team to plan and deliver content across multiple channels
  • Prepare client reports and attend regular meetings
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and updates
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Agency-side PR experience
  • Excellent copywriting skills, including press release and social media caption writing
  • A proven track record of securing client coverage in regional, national, and trade press
  • Confidence in client-facing roles
  • Exceptional attention to detail
