Non-Destructive Testing Specialist

The Shorterm Group, a leading supplier of repair, overhaul, consultancy, testing and training services to the rail industry, is seeking an experienced Aerospace Technician to join their team as a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Specialist.
Job SummaryThis permanent position offers a competitive salary of £45,000 per annum, plus overtime, and comes with a range of benefits including flexible shifts, company pension, and employee discounts.
Main Responsibilities- Travel to clients' locations and set up NDT equipment in accordance with relevant standards and procedures.
- Conduct Non-Destructive Tests on welds, structures and materials using non-destructive techniques.
- Maintain NDT equipment and assist the NDT Lead with administrative duties when required.
- Full driving license.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in NDT.
- PCN (Level II) Qualifications in MPI, DPI, and VT.
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Competent in Microsoft Office Software.
- Good communication skills and willingness to travel and work away from home.
