Gate Automation Specialist

At Precision People, we are seeking a skilled Gate Automation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a wide range of Sliding, Swing and Automated Gate Systems, Barriers & Access Controls.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Electrical servicing and repairs
  2. Working with Roger Technology, CAME, BPT or BENINCA manufacturers
  3. Perform routine maintenance
  4. Completion of breakdown repairs & planned remedial works
  5. Delivering excellent face-to-face customer service
  6. Working as part of a small team
  7. Equipment retrofits / Upgrades
  8. On-site Health & Safety
  9. Ensuring that works are carried out in compliance with current health, safety and environmental requirements

Requirements:
  1. Previous experience as a Gate Automation/ Barrier Engineer
  2. Must have experience in servicing, installing, commissioning or repairing Automatic Electric Gates, Barriers, Access Control Equipment and Bollards
  3. Previous experience of working in a field-based role or happy to cover travel in the Midlands
  4. Good communication skills with a range of individuals; customers to site operatives
  5. City & Guilds - Electrical Installation qualification desirable
  6. Knowledge of a range of manufacturers including Roger Technology, CAME, BPT or BENINCA would be beneficial
  7. Commutable to the company office in Loughborough
  8. Must hold a Full Clean UK Driving Licence

Package:
  1. Up to £35,000 per annum
  2. Starting Salary is dependent on experience
  3. Hours of work: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
  4. Overtime available
  5. Company Vehicle and Fuel Card
  6. 29 days holiday (inclusive of Bank Holidays)
  7. Company Pension Scheme
