We are seeking an experienced Azure Enterprise Architect to work with our client, a global commodity trader, on their significant cloud transformation and modernization program. This initiative aims to streamline their architecture, remediate legacy infrastructure issues, and provide a new scalable platform for business growth.

Key Responsibilities:


• Architect the Azure landing zone and connectivity, enforcing consistency of approach and tooling.


• Collaborate with enterprise technology teams to integrate enterprise technology services with the Azure environment.


• Develop scalable design patterns for the client's applications.


• Establish standardized integration patterns.


• Work with application teams and architects to map out migration roadmaps and target architectures.

Requirements:


• B.S/M.S. in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent experience.


• 10+ years of experience in designing and building complex IT systems.


• 5+ years of experience working as a cloud architect with Azure cloud environments.


• In-depth understanding of core Cloud concepts, including Account Strategy, Networking/VPC Design, DNS, Interconnectivity, Security and Compliance, Identity and Access Management, Shared Services, Logging and Monitoring, Tagging Strategies, Backup Strategies, and Migration approaches.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have:


• Experience in Global Markets, Banking, and Financial Services domain.


• Accreditation and experience across all three main public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).


• Ability to work effectively within a globally distributed team with stakeholders and development team members spread across multiple locations.
