Job Title: Director of Resource Mobilization and Partnerships

Save the Children is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Resource Mobilization and Partnerships to lead our resource mobilization efforts in Ukraine. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing funds from various sources, establishing and running the resource mobilization and new business development function, and coordinating the development of proposals and concept notes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive resource mobilization strategy to secure funds from institutional donors, corporate donors, and foundations.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, partners, and government officials.
  • Lead the development of proposals and concept notes, ensuring they meet the requirements of major institutional donors.
  • Manage and coordinate the resource mobilization and new business development team, providing guidance and support to team members.
  • Monitor and analyze funding trends, identifying opportunities and challenges, and developing strategies to address them.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Management Team to ensure alignment with the organization's overall strategy and goals.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, international development, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in resource mobilization, new business development, and donor relationship management, with a minimum of 7 years in senior management roles.
  • Proven track record of securing funds from institutional donors, corporate donors, and foundations.
  • Strong knowledge of the requirements of major institutional donors, including key strategies, ways of working, eligibility issues, compliance management, and reporting.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to present complex information in a clear and compelling manner, with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability.
