Warehouse Operative Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our team at Blue Arrow. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To complete pallet repair reworks accurately and in line with customer instructions.
  • Sorting and repairing various automotive packaging types, including pallets for Volvo's global packaging pool.
  • Washing Totes and marshalling stock.
  • To use equipment as required and trained for.
  • To undertake any other duties commensurate with the position as designated by the line manager.
  • To accurately complete all appropriate documentation.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a warehousing or logistics setting.
  • Fully flexible to working shift times.
  • Ability to work to meet tight deadlines, achieve targets, and work unsupervised.
  • Physically fit to meet the nature of the role.
  • Effective communication skills, IT literate, and good understanding of numeracy with knowledge of using IT systems.
  • Proactive approach to work, self-motivated, and driven to meet targets.
  • If any previous experience with FLT (counterbalance or reach truck) is desirable.
