Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to join our team. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and stockroom.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and process incoming deliveries, checking for damaged or missing items
  • Store goods and move stock using various methods, including manual handling and equipment operation
  • Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
  • Load goods for dispatch, ensuring timely and safe transportation
  • Maintain accurate stock records and documentation
  • Perform general cleaning duties and maintain a safe and organized work environment
  • Operate a range of equipment, including materials handling equipment (MHE) and fork lift trucks, safely and efficiently
  • Assist in the processing of customer returns, including basic testing of CCTV equipment and emergency lighting

Requirements

  • Keen and willing to learn, with a strong desire to develop skills and knowledge
  • Punctual and reliable, with a strong work ethic
  • Good practical skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently
  • Interest in electronics and IT would be an advantage

Education and Qualifications

GCSE grades A* - C in maths and English are required for this role.
