Job Description

Austin Fraser is seeking an experienced Apprenticeship Skills Development Specialist to join our team in Derby. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with apprentices, employers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality training and support.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and passionate individual who can implement the delivery plan, maintain high standards of teaching and support, and ensure learning sessions are planned and delivered effectively. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering engaging and meaningful learning activities and training workshops, as well as delivering Functional Skills in maths and English up to Level 2.

Responsibilities
  • Onboard apprentices, complete mandatory paperwork, and internal quality documents as appropriate.
  • Implement the delivery plan, maintaining high standards of teaching and support.
  • Ensure learning sessions are planned and delivered to develop English and mathematical skills, and embed British values.
  • Monitor apprentice progress at work, identify skills gaps, and facilitate development opportunities.
  • Conduct regular reviews with apprentices and their line managers, building productive relationships and identifying emerging issues.
Requirements
  • GCSEs at grade A*-C (new grades 4-9) in English and maths, or equivalent Level 2 qualifications.
  • Teaching qualification at Level 3.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle.
  • Previous experience in delivering engaging learning activities and training workshops.
  • Deliver high-quality training sessions meeting Ofsted standards and learner engagement.
