Health & Safety Manager – Requirements

  • NEBOSH Construction qualification

Health & Safety Manager – Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and monitor the implementation of good H&S practices across the company and all its activities.
  • Champion safety on all levels.
  • Prepare and deliver training to employees, including inductions, toolbox talks, safety campaigns and bulletins.
  • Conduct site audits and inspections across static sites in the Group and at customer's construction and demolition sites.
  • Collate, analyse and report on Health and Safety matters for the Board, managers and supervisors and maintain KPIs (AFR/AIR, Near Misses etc)
  • Investigate and analyse accidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure that suitable and sufficient risk assessments and method statements are in place for all company activities, making recommendations for improvement and ensuring implementation.
  • Manage Fire Risk Assessments and provide fire safety management advice.
  • Oversee Occupational Health monitoring.
