Health & Safety Manager – Requirements
- NEBOSH Construction qualification
- Proven track record in a similar role in the construction industry or quarries
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills

Health & Safety Manager – Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and monitor the implementation of good H&S practices across the company and all its activities.
- Champion safety on all levels.
- Prepare and deliver training to employees, including inductions, toolbox talks, safety campaigns and bulletins.
- Conduct site audits and inspections across static sites in the Group and at customer's construction and demolition sites.
- Collate, analyse and report on Health and Safety matters for the Board, managers and supervisors and maintain KPIs (AFR/AIR, Near Misses etc)
- Investigate and analyse accidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure that suitable and sufficient risk assessments and method statements are in place for all company activities, making recommendations for improvement and ensuring implementation.
- Manage Fire Risk Assessments and provide fire safety management advice.
- Oversee Occupational Health monitoring.
