About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior/Principal Electrical Engineer to join our Critical Systems Team at Ramboll Group A/S. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing electrical design expertise for our UK-wide projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage your own project work, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the project manager to allocate tasks and resources effectively.
  • Develop detailed electrical designs for distribution systems, including MV and LV, and apply renewable technologies such as battery energy storage, hydrogen, and wind power.
  • Design rail power delivery solutions for Network Rail and TfL, as well as power generation and control systems.
  • Design electrical installations for special locations, utilizing specialist software such as ETAP, Paladin, and Trimble.
About You
  • You will have a CIBSE/IET Engineering Council accredited honors degree or an HNC in an applicable discipline, with a commitment to continuing higher education.
  • You will have a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and possess a strong understanding of financial arrangements for projects, including fee forecasting and preparation.
  • You will be forward-thinking and passionate about digital design innovation and 'smart design' in an increasingly digitalized construction arena.
  • You will have experience across different sectors, such as Building Services Design, Site surveys & inspections, Snagging, Client & design team meetings.
