New Build Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced New Build Project Manager to join our team at 4Recruitment Services. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing the construction of our largest and most complex sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the work of site managers, assistant site managers, and sub-contractors to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring that they are within approved budgets and that any variances are reported and addressed promptly.
  • Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with company procedures, health and safety legislation, and relevant industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure that customer satisfaction is achieved and that projects are delivered to the required quality standards.

Requirements:

  • CSCS Managers Card and CITB (SMSTS) Site Managers Safety Course.
  • Experience of supervising tradesmen and subcontractors, scheduling, and calling off material orders.
  • Ability to coach and develop junior members of the construction team.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to lead by example and drive team performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
