About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Bid Writer to join our Social Sector Contracts Team at Howdens Joinery. As a Bid Writer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality compliant submissions to secure business tenders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compile and create bespoke bid responses to meet client requirements.
- Prepare high-quality responses for pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQ's), Invitation to tender (ITT's), and case studies.
- Ensure win themes are articulated to meet or exceed client requirements.
- Manage the overall submission and re-tender of frameworks.
- Work with stakeholders across the Social Sector Contract team.
- Provide support to the business development function as needed.
- Identify and re-work existing pre-written content where relevant.
- Obtain, review, and edit information received from subject matter experts.
- Manage deadlines to ensure timely delivery.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in responding to tenders and bid writing.
- Proven ability in planning, compiling, and delivering compliant bids.
- Experience working in a busy multi-activity environment.
- Experience writing bespoke bid responses to tenders.
- Experience building relationships at all levels with a collaborative approach.
- Comfortable working independently.
- Meticulous and detail-oriented with a conscientious approach.
- Self-motivated and highly organized.
