We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team at Kenton Black - Construction, a leading residential groundworks business based in Bromsgrove.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to contribute to the growth and success of our company. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for:
- Optimising contract profitability through effective cost management and value engineering
- Providing quotations to clients for variations and ensuring accurate monthly cost and value reports
- Developing a comprehensive understanding of residential groundworks and staying up-to-date with industry developments
- Collaborating with our project teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in residential groundworks, with a strong understanding of construction contracts and regulations
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Experience in value engineering and cost management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
We offer a competitive salary of up to £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as:
