Job Title: Deputy Director of Environmental Services

We are seeking a confident and inspirational leader to join our team as Deputy Director of Environmental Services. As a key member of our Resident Services Directorate, you will be responsible for leading a dynamic portfolio of services that touch the lives of our residents.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be accountable for leading a range of services including waste management, parks and open spaces, grounds maintenance, arboriculture, street cleaning, commercial regulation, environmental crime, bereavement services, and markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of professionals to deliver high-quality services to residents
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and efficiency
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices
  • Manage budgets and resources to achieve service delivery goals
