We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to achieve their educational and personal goals.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide support to pupils in various learning contexts, including the classroom, local environment, and community, to aid their learning, development, and progress across the curriculum.
  • Empower and support pupils with a range of needs, such as PMLD, complex medical conditions, and autism, to achieve their educational and personal goals.
  • Promote equality, diversity, and the rights of our pupils to be treated with respect and seen as learners.
  • Place emphasis on support and empowerment for our pupils.
  • Promote a greater understanding of Special Education issues and uphold the values of the school.
  • Provide high-quality support in all aspects of the role.
  • Participate in physical intervention and personal care routines, if required.

**Requirements:**

  • Relevant professional or personal experience in SEN
  • Strong understanding of SEN and its implications
  • Ability to work with pupils with a range of needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
