Stanton House is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to join a leading UK Retail Business in Maidenhead. This is a hybrid role, with 2 days per week spent in the office.

The successful candidate will partner across multiple stakeholder groups, in line with the commercial finance strategy of the business to deliver the Group's growth and financial targets.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Continual assessment of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor and measure the financial performance of the Group.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial strategies that align with business objectives and optimise commercial performance.
  • Monitoring the business objectives and activities to drive decisions that yield the greatest commercial benefit.
  • Production of relevant sales and margin reporting, providing proactive actionable insight to improve financial performance.
  • Providing financial support and guidance for new product development initiatives, pricing strategies, and investment decisions.
  • Preparing and presenting financial reports, presentations, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Partnering and supporting into marketing, product, operations, technology, and transformation teams to support delivery of budgets / forecasting and projects.
  • Partnering with the business on annual and periodic commercial discussions.

To be suitable for this role, you must have:

  • Qualified accountant with proven experience as a credible Finance Business Partner.
  • Excellent commercial acumen, taking the time to understand business objectives and focusing on activity to yield the greatest commercial benefit.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Solid understanding of key financial concepts and commercial accounting principles.
  • Ability to challenge norms, processes, and ways of working and drive positive change.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Demonstrable ability to influence senior personnel within large organisation and non-finance stakeholders.
