Clinical Governance Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mental Health Nurse or Senior Mental Health Nurse to lead the delivery of high-quality patient care in our prisons and forensic units. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective clinical governance strategies, ensuring compliance with National Prison Health Quality & Performance Indicators.

- Provide expert guidance and support to junior staff, ensuring they receive comprehensive supervision and training.">
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify and address service improvement opportunities, driving continuous quality improvement.">
- Develop and maintain accurate records and reports, using data to inform decision-making and drive change.">
- Build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.">
Requirements:

- Registered Mental Health Nurse or Senior Mental Health Nurse with a minimum of 12-18 months' experience at Band 5 level.">
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care, with a strong focus on clinical governance and leadership.">
- Experience of working in prison or forensic settings, with a deep understanding of current issues and agendas facing offender healthcare.">
Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
