Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Claims Expert to join our team as a Marine Hull and Liability Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing market-leading, proactive handling of claims within authority for Marine Hull and Liability classes.

About the Role
  • You will be accountable for certain class claims if required, ensuring that the best outcomes are achieved consistently for our clients and business.
  • You will provide consistent delivery of a Trusted, first-class claims experience to clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders in adherence with all MS Amlin policies, procedures, controls, and our claims philosophy.
Main Responsibilities
  • Dynamic claims handling leading the market arising from responsible line of business (and other classes where appropriate) from FNOL to settlement, with due consideration of subrogation/contribution where appropriate.
  • Monitoring claims to ensure early 'best estimate' reserves are in place, valid claims are settled promptly with tight control of costs throughout lifecycle.
  • Ensuring all claims handling responsibilities adhere to MS Amlin procedures, controls, and Lloyd's/FCA/PRA/J-SOX regulatory requirements, with individual performance results in 'green' Claims KPIs.
  • Role modeling and promoting a respectful culture of open communication, collaboration, dynamic claims adjustment, and continuous improvement, sharing knowledge with the team and colleagues to foster consistent superior service delivery and optimal working environment for all.

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. This includes a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension scheme, and generous holiday allowance.
