Job Summary:

Carbon60 is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team in Bristol. As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for developing accurate estimates for design and build projects, including large and complex schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop accurate estimates for design and build projects, including large and complex schemes
  • Provide accurate take-offs and maintain a high level of competency when preparing prime cost estimates
  • Develop Value Engineering Proposals and provide innovation where applicable
  • Competently use Trimble Contract Master for preparing estimates
  • Manage client and key stakeholder requests in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintain accurate records of tenders submitted while interfacing with the Estimating manager and work winning/procurement operations teams

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an Electrical Estimator role
  • Knowledge of various Electrical installations ranging from 230V - 11kV
  • Main switchgear and sub-distribution experience
  • Background in LV Cable installation and jointing works
  • Broad understanding of requirements for electrical projects and accurate vetting of quotations from supply chain partners
  • Staff Management and Delivery team experience
  • Testing & Commissioning background
