Job Purpose

The role of Digital Cloud Solutions Manager is to deliver client work, identify opportunities, and promote cloud solutions to the wider team. The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with partners and portfolio managers to identify client opportunities and internal efficiencies for cloud implementation and optimization.

This is a regional role, and some travel will be required. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud-based technology and accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with partners and portfolio managers to identify client opportunities and internal efficiencies for cloud implementation and optimization.
  • Promoting the completion of and carrying out new digital health checks across the ABA North West portfolio.
  • Carrying out client work, including cloud implementation, finance function optimization, and Xero training engagements.
  • Overseeing junior staff when assisting on projects, providing adequate briefing, supervision, and training, and reviewing work completed for adequacy and competence.
  • Raising awareness of digital solutions, particularly cloud accounting, Xero, and related apps, across managers and partners.
  • Keeping up to date with developments in the digital accounting space, maintaining Xero certification, and undertaking relevant training.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong communicator, both with clients and RSM staff at all levels.
  • Proactive – this role requires someone who can drive the digital journey.
  • Resilient – comfortable with trying something but accepting it may not work first time.
  • Good judgement – able to benchmark solutions and articulate why a solution has been chosen.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to be able to troubleshoot issues that arise.
