About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to join our team at Kier Group. As a Senior Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure site works are planned, coordinated, and undertaken in a safe, timely, and cost-efficient manner in accordance with relevant project plans, design drawings, specification, and the programme.
  • Control the short and medium-term programmes to ensure timely and economical completion.
  • Support the Project Manager/Agent in defining the efficient and effective planning of the works (methodology) and plant and labour resources.
  • Support the General Foreman to work safely in accordance with assessed construction risks and adherence with the control measures defined in Work Package Plans and Task Briefs.
  • Manage the General Foreman, Foreman, Site Supervisors, and other assigned resources.

Requirements

  • HNC (Construction related) or Level 6 NVQ Construction Site Management.
  • Gold Supervisors or Black Managers Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.
  • Site Manager Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS).
