Job Title: HR Advisor - Talent Acquisition Specialist

Company Overview
KLEEMANN, a global leader in lift services, is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our UK Human Resources team. With a strong presence in the international market, we offer a fast-paced and dynamic work environment that fosters growth and development.

Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience

Job Description
We are looking for a skilled HR Advisor to support our department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. As a key member of our small HR team, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert advice and support to both employees and management on a wide range of human resource matters. You will work closely with the HR Supervisor executing our organisation's Human Resource plans and reporting to the UK Group Head of Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. To assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures, including the maintenance and guidance of the employee handbook.
  2. To support the recruitment process, including shortlisting, interviewing, administering reference requests, preparing employment contracts, induction packs, and onboarding processes.
  3. To project manage key HR initiatives, such as the Employee Value Proposition / Employer Branding, Early Careers programmes, and compensation and benefits packages.
  4. To provide advice and support on employee relations, including grievances, disciplinary procedures, absence cases, and performance management.
  5. To facilitate engagement programs to support employee retention, including town halls, events, and employee engagement surveys.
  6. To support company-wide training plans, including conducting training needs analysis and delivering training on core HR processes.
  7. To maintain accurate records and data, including absence records, return to work, variations to contract, exit interviews, and data entry in our bespoke human resources information system – in line with Data Protection Act (GDPR).

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Previous HR experience, ideally within manufacturing or engineering in similar role.
  • Exposure to full employee lifecycle, advising on Employment Relations.
  • Sound knowledge of HR policies and procedures and UK employment legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • A high level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Ability to deal with complex and sensitive cases, maintaining confidentiality.
  • Experience with HR systems and project management, including MS Excel, PPT, Word.
