About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Statistician to join our Product Development Data Sciences team in Welwyn Garden City. As a Data Scientist at Roche, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our medicines by driving and implementing quantitative drug development strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct exploratory analysis to answer important health-related questions
  • Quality check the work of other statisticians to ensure consistency and inform high-quality decision making
  • Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to progress and deliver clinical trials
  • Engage with technical and essential skills training and knowledge sharing sessions
  • Participate in wider non-project roles, such as organizing internal meetings and developing new processes/initiatives
Qualifications
  • Excellent academic record, keen to continue further study
  • College/University degree in a highly numerate discipline, such as mathematics or statistics
  • Track record of effectively working in a team environment
  • Influential and confident communicator
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Ability to work across multiple cultures and countries
  • Willingness to travel as required
