Job Overview

Moston is seeking a seasoned Contract Planner to join their team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project planning and a proven track record of delivering projects within time and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with Senior Planner and project teams to ensure project delivery within time and budget.
  • Provide planning management and support to pre-contract and contract operations.
  • Produce, manage and update programmes for acceptance in line with NEC contract requirements.
  • Manage and incorporate change events into construction programmes.
  • Measure, forecast and control against agreed programme baseline.
  • Provide robust, accurate forecast information to internal stakeholders.
  • Support opportunity and risk management process.
  • Support sub-contractor programme information and maintain excellent working relationships with stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Project controls / Project management qualification.
  • Degree / HNC in an engineering / construction discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience of project planning within civil / construction sector.
  • Proven knowledge of planning techniques including critical path analysis.
  • Competent user of Oracle Primavera P6.
  • Understanding of programme reporting requirements including Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques.
  • Understanding of programme requirements under NEC Contracts.
  • Working knowledge of the use of CEMAR in managing NEC Contracts.
