Job Title: Senior Pricing Actuary

Travelers is seeking a highly skilled Senior Pricing Actuary to join our Marine and Aviation business unit. As a key member of our actuarial team, you will be responsible for providing actuarial support and expertise to drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement pricing models to optimize profitability and risk management.
  • Provide actuarial support for business planning, portfolio management, and capital modeling.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely pricing decisions.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members to develop their actuarial skills and expertise.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to drive business growth and improvement.
Requirements:
  • University degree in a STEM-related field (2:1 or above).
  • Programming skills in R/Python or similar.
  • Preferably qualified actuary with experience in the London market.
  • Strong understanding of insurance products and industry.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
