Procurement Manager

iQ Student Accommodation is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team in London Bridge. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for procuring goods and services that support the operation of our assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide procurement support for all functions across iQ, including Facilities, Capital Projects, and Central Services.
  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment between strategic business plans and procurement direction.
  • Lead and run tender processes for multiple spend categories, from requirement definition to contract award and execution.
  • Maintain supplier contracts and ensure changes are captured through the necessary contract variation process.
  • Support the Procurement Administrator and Accounts Payable team to ensure supplier records are up-to-date.
  • Work with the finance function to ensure contractual relationships align with the company's legal and tax structure.
  • Provide stakeholder management and support for supply chain engagement and escalation.
  • Advise on procurement routes and provide guidance on the iQ Procurement Policy.
  • Contribute to the development of processes, policies, and tender template documents.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience in a strategic procurement function, preferably in a brownfield environment.
  • Proven experience in tender management on large or complex programs.
  • Experience in implementing new suppliers with online portals.
  • Proven experience in achieving cost savings and sustainable benefits through effective negotiations.
  • Highly motivated professional with a proactive approach to procurement.
  • Effective relationship building and management skills.
  • Negotiation and commercial acumen.
  • Organisational and presentational skills.
  • Prioritisation and workload management skills.
  • Good stakeholder leadership experience with senior stakeholders.
