As a Parts Advisor at Steer Automotive Group, you will play a key role in managing inventory levels and tracking parts orders. Your responsibilities will include communicating with suppliers, coordinating returns for credit, and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
About the Job:
- Manage inventory levels and track parts orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Liaise with suppliers to request delivery dates and coordinate returns for credit.
- Contribute to maintaining strong supplier relationships and ensuring the Parts Department is clean and organized.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
- Provide critical support to technicians and contribute to the smooth operation of the service department.
About You:
We seek a skilled candidate with:
- Prior experience in a purchasing role, preferably in the automotive industry.
- A high level of commercial acumen and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A positive attitude and commitment to delivering outstanding service.
Benefits:
The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive salary of £32,000 - £35,000 per annum, plus benefits including 29 days holiday, pension contributions, and performance-related bonuses.
