About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team in Australia. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address individual patient needs
  • Conduct screenings to detect voice or speech disorders
  • Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and causes
  • Keep detailed records of patient progress and care plans
  • Report progress to relevant parties, including family members, teachers, or medical professionals

About You

To succeed in this role, you should be a caring and adaptable individual with strong analytical and communication skills. A Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required, and experience with certain conditions or age groups may be preferred.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience with certain conditions or age groups may be preferred
  • Strong understanding of speech-related conditions, causes, and treatments
  • Excellent coaching and verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with computers, especially patient and healthcare databases
