Senior Turkish Chef

Leydi, part of Hyde London City, is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Senior Turkish Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee food production, staff management, and inventory control to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Lead by example, maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and presentation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to source fresh, locally-sourced ingredients.
  • Maintain accurate records of kitchen expenses, labour costs, and menu profitability.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create seasonal menus, specials, and promotions.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team members' skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • 2+ years' experience as a Head Chef in a busy environment, preferably in Turkish cuisine.
  • Extensive knowledge of traditional Turkish cooking methods, ingredients, and presentation styles.
  • Proven ability to manage large kitchen teams, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • A passion for creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with kitchen software and technology, including point-of-sale systems and inventory management tools.
