Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at ACORN RECRUITMENT LIMITED. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering packages across a planned route to an approved timescale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading parcels from your van (must be able to lift a minimum of 23kg)
  • Delivering packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Providing excellent customer service and ensuring a high level of satisfaction
  • Working collaboratively with a supportive team to achieve delivery targets

What We Offer:

  • Van, fuel, and insurance provided at no cost
  • Fully paid training days
  • 9-9.5 hour day planned Delivery Route
  • Weekly Pay
  • Full induction and training with a supportive team once you're on the road
  • Free car parking

Requirements:

  • UK or EU Driving Licence
  • No more than 6 penalty points on your licence and held your licence for more than 1 year
  • Must be over the age of 25 (insurance purposes)
  • Hard-working, motivated, and great at working in a fast-paced environment
  • Good understanding of the local area would be an advantage
